Lauren joined the Hurlbut Team in 2017 to assist with operations, marketing, and relationship management before becoming an agent in 2018. After spending ten plus years of her life running fast paced, high intensity kitchens at notable restaurants like Chez Panisse, where she was Sous Chef from 2009-2013, Lauren turned her attention to family. Her shift to real estate doesn’t surprise those who know her. Born and raised in Lafayette, Lauren possesses a natural drive to share the community she loves with others. She and her husband (also a native to the area) lived in Oakland before flipping their beloved ranch-style abode for a fixer-upper closer to their families and friends. Lauren can relate to the experience of purchasing a home in this competitive market and personally relied on the expertise of Bryan and Lindsey to help land her “forever home.”

Growing up in the area Lauren possesses a nuanced understanding of local neighborhoods and a wide network of people that can help with off-market opportunities. Lauren brings her community knowledge, unrelenting work ethic, and a passion for functional design to each purchase and sale. Serving as project manager to various home remodels for family and friends, as well as recently finishing a complete renovation on her own Lafayette home, Lauren has experience with a long list of trusted referrals from contractors to cleaning services.

Lauren is: a 2006 graduate of UCSD, excellent cook, aspiring gardener, wife to Conor, mom to Josie and Frannie, and a labrador named Winston.
